BGW Coaching Services Leads to Strengthened Organizational Capacity
In 2015, Helping His Hands Disaster Response (HHH) engaged BGW to provide coaching services and hands-on assistance to strengthen grants capacity, research and prioritize grant funding prospects and help develop a grant narrative bank for key programs.
Through completion of our grants management audit and follow-up consultation, we determined that HHH would be better served with strategic planning support before moving forward with BGW. Therefore, we put our services on hold, connected HHH to a strategic planning consultant and helped them secure scholarship funding to cover the cost.
As a result, HHH redefined its mission, vision and core values, and established goal-oriented volunteer committees to implement and sustain plan progress. Moreover, HHH became better positioned to work with BGW to address their grants management needs.
